How To Set Default Punch State for Fingerprint Time Clock

When users touch the timeclock screen, they can see options for punch states like check-in, break-in, break-out, and check-out. And users can make mistakes when punching by selecting the wrong selection. To fix this issue, the recommended option is to set the default punch state on the time clock, and no need to choose any state when punching. Once set in a default state, the system will convert punches to their respective states automatically on the fly.

  • Step-1: Navigate to the main menu -> tap on [Personaliize] option
  • Step-2: Tap [Punch State Option] from the [Personalize] interface.
  • Step-3: Select punch state mode as [Fixed] mode.
  • Step-4: Tap on the back button on the top left to navigate back to the [Punch State Option] interface.
  • Step-5: Punch State required = off
  • Step-6: Tap [Fix Punch State] and select [Check-IN]
